Justin Mitchell is an artist based in Wilsonville, Oregon. He works with oil, acrylic, charcoal, ink, and mixed media. His work draws from the natural world but often pushes familiar forms somewhere less familiar.

He is drawn to the beauty of the natural world and the interconnectedness of living things. Nature is a source of both peace and awe—a place to feel at home while also encountering something far larger than ourselves. His work grows out of a sense of curiosity and wonder about the natural world and our place within it.

Justin lives in Wilsonville with his wife, their two children, and their cats. Away from the easel, he stays close to the same curiosity that drives the work: family, stories, music, and the small details that make a day feel memorable.
